Willie Pietersen, who is chairman of the Institute for the Future, advises and serves as a consultant to many global companies, including Sony, Ericsson, Deloitte & Touche, SAP, and the Chubb Corporation. In 1998, he was named Professor of the Practice of Management at the Columbia University Business School. And, between 1974 and 1994, he ran multibillion-dollar divisions of such several major corporations as Unilever, The Seagram Company, and Sterling Winthrop.
